Guidance on Registration
There are four steps to registration as a member.
Step 1 - Complete and submit your application form (see guidance notes below). You will receive an email for you to validate your email address.
Step 2 – We will confirm that you are a former associate via one of the four options, which is chosen by you.
Step 3 – When you are confirmed, you will receive an email providing you with a link to access the site.
Step 4 - You are now a member and can Log In to the site using your email and password.
Completion of Application Form
You must enter details in any mandatory fields, which are marked with a *. Some of these are confidential and are included for security purposes. Your Member Profile will only show your Name, Gender, Nationality, Country of Residence and Mars History. To benefit fully from the network on the site, we recommend that you allow your email address to be shown.
Any other personal information will only be shown if you choose.
Name and Gender are straightforward but remember to include the name you were known at Mars (if different) so that other members can identify you.
Date of Birth needs to be completed in the European format, aligned left with dots between the day.month.year
Nationality, Country of Residence, Address and Postcode/Zip are straightforward.
Email Address - you must use a clearly identifiable email address with your name in it. Non-identifiable email addresses such as info@ will not be accepted.
Password - choose any memorable password you like.
Mars History - tick as many boxes as you need under Categories, Functions and Countries to capture the full extent of your career at Mars or Wrigley.
Validation
You will be asked to choose one of the following to help us confirm that you are a former associate.
LinkedIn
This is the quickest way for us to validate that you are a former associate. When you activate your email address we will provide you with the link to the Mars & Wrigley/Martians Reunited group. Please join this so that we can view your profile.
Mars Associate
You can provide us with the name, location and email address of a current associate (if you have this). We will then contact this person and ask them to confirm that you are a former associate.
Current Member of Martians Reunited
You can provide us with the name and email address of a current member (if you have this). We will then contact this person and ask them to confirm that you are a former associate.
Time at Mars
You can provide us with a brief description about your time at Mars, including the sites where you worked and the names of any senior managers, line managers or P&O managers you remember. We will then confirm that you are a former associate.
Terms of Use - tick the box to confirm that you agree to these. There is a link to these at the bottom of every page on the site, including the Application Form.
Click Registration Submit. Your membership application is now completed.
If your application form is not completed correctly then the errors or missing information will be highlighted in red. if you scroll through the form you can find and fix the error and click Registration Submit again.
