Job Description
Working closely with the CEO/Founder of Procure4, this critical Board level role will be responsible for growing the Brand and business in the US:
1. Lead P4 Inc strategy / annual plan development & delivery aligned to P4 Group goals.
2. Actively identify and pursue C-Level New Business Development opportunities.
3. Maintain C-Level client relationships whilst directing P4 teams to deliver projects; ‘On-Time & In-Full’ (‘OTIF’).
4. Ensure direct reports develop in line with goals set out in P4 Inc plan & their PDPs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead P4 Inc Strategy & Annual Plan development and delivery.
Work with the CEO, CFO and local team of P4 to:
- Develop and deliver 3 year strategic plans that meet employee and shareholder aspirations.
- Build and deliver robust annual plans that meet overall strategic goals. In particular bring NBD experience to plan anticipated project build that fits with overall financial goals.
- Review P4 team capability and support people plan development to optimise strategy delivery.
- Ensure all P4 employees understand the Vision & Strategy, their part in it and the importance of the Brand and our people in driving Growth, Optimisation & Delivery.
- Actively promote adoption of P4 values, the motivation and high morale of the P4 team.
2. Actively identifying and pursuing NBD opportunities:
- Identify and encourage delivery personnel to identify possible NBD leads that fit with P4 NBD criteria and growth plans.
- Work with the US Op’s Director to identify wider NBD opportunities with existing clients.
- Develop and deliver presentations and proposals to meet targeted clients anticipated needs.
- Establish robust contracts and project charters with new clients that fit P4 Inc’s financial plan requirements.
- Identifying and where appropriate attending events or conferences where brand / network building opportunities exist.
- Oversee maintenance of the P4 CRM system to ensure timely closure of NBD opportunities.
- Continually maintaining brand standards in order to optimise references and P4 credibility.
3. Directing P4 Teams to deliver projects, OTIF:
Working closely with our experienced and highly motivated Op’s Director:
- Ensuring the process of establishing the project contract, charter and prospectus are completed in a timely and robust manner.
- Approving Project Manager’s planned return on investment for a project is optimal and meets P4 overall business plan requirements.
- Ensuring that team members receive support in the development & delivery of category approach strategies to CBR objectives & timescales as agreed in the charter.
- Challenging the appropriate utilisation of Procure4 business & project management tools.
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients, notably with the client CEO, whilst the Op’s Director works with the project sponsor and impacted functional directors.
- Ensuring that each project has an audit trail of actions and agreements with clients and where appropriate suppliers.
- Reviewing project management progress and financial re-forecasting with the Op’s Director via the P4 system, to ensure issues are being reported, escalated and resolved in a timely manner
- Inspiring energy and focus upon delivery of client objectives.
4. Ensuring direct reports develop in line with PDP:
- Inspiring motivation and energy within both P4 and client team.
- Working with People Development to ensure that direct and indirect reports have PDPs & sufficient training and experience to deliver client needs.
- Ensuring P4 delivery personnel identify and share developments in key category markets and P4 target sectors in order to enhance P4’s credibility in the market place.
- Developing a close sense of community with the UK team: ‘One brand across two regions’.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate with a strong degree from a renowned University.
- Likely to have 7-10 years senior procurement/supply chain management experience, preferably as a Director/VP in a major US or International business.
- Management of a highly experienced and motivated team of senior change agents.
- Highly experienced in client engagement, presentation, written and verbal proposal development and basic contract law.
- Developing, selling in and delivering strategic change that enhances value through challenging traditional thinking and methodology.
- Sensitivity to and adept at overcoming political or strategic issues that might obstruct projects.
- Directing multiple project managers to deliver targets to tight deadlines in a climate of re-engineering.
- Inspiring cross functional teams to work together to surpass client expectations.
- Recognising leading edge tools, processes or methods that can be adapted by P4 to build credibility and enhance delivery.

Salary Information
Base Salary: TBC dependent on experience plus:
30% bonus based on 40% company & 60% individual performance.
Profit share based on delivery of 3 year strategic plan.
